Model Engineers Laser

Deadline for orders for next batch, 5pm Wednesday 1st Jan

If it's 2D and flat, we will cut it*, even if it isn't for model railways (yes, shocking)!

Established in 2004 by Malcolm High and passed to the new ownership of Edward Parrott in 2021, Model Engineers Laser can boast a catalogue of over 38,300 parts with customers all over the world.

Laser cutting offers a fast and accurate way of cutting various materials, and its popularity has increased dramatically in the industry. Trying to keep prices down, without compromising our service or quality is of utmost importance to us. We can offer such great prices as we keep overheads to a minimum, such as reusing packing materials where we can(this is also really great for the environment), and by batch cutting orders, so please don't expect a next-day service.

*See our materials section for availability.

Here is a helpful video to explain how our new website works.  Please note, if you have used us before, even in Malcolm's days, you DO NOT need to create a new account!

How to use our online catalogue:

Parts are sorted by gauge (or other headings if not for railway engines), Once you are in the right gauge (group), then the lists are sorted alphabetically. By clicking on the relevant engine, you will then see a list of available parts, each one of which will list the material it is made of, and the minimum number you will need for your engine. All prices listed are for a one-off, excluding VAT and postage. Prices are based on the cost last time it was ordered, please note that material prices fluctuate, and therefore the price may vary.

Can't find what you are looking for in our catalogue? Please contact us, as we are more than happy to help. If we still don't have it, we are happy to cut it for you. You can find out more in our Materials section.
